To mark the 75th anniversary of the 1922 Concurso de Cante Jondo, organized by composer Manuel de Falla and Federico García Lorca among other intelectuals, we release the first complete edition of all the recordings made by Odeón as a result of the event: 4 songs by Manuel Torre and another six by Diego Bermudez, El Tenazas de Moron. The CD is complimented by the private collection of flamenco recordings belonging to Lorca and which he normally used to illustrate his lectures on Cante Jondo thoughout the world.
