The content of the CD,
BOLERO...
LETTERS OF LOVE AND INDIFFERENCE, comes as a result
of the theatrical production concerning a musical genre
that has been present in the lives of several generations.
Fifteen classic and current boleros interpreted by the Venezuelan
singer and pianist Edith Salazar who has looked for a merger
of diverse musical and theatrical styles.
On the album, one can follow the same conductive thread
of the theatrical show: six letters of love and indifference
written by the best-selling Spanish writer, Espido Freire,
for this project, and presented here throught the voices
of some of the greatest Spanish actresses: Lucía
Bosé, Terele Pávez, Loles León, Antonia
San Juan, Mariola Fuentes and Maria Esteve.
